THE DREAM FAN CHAMPIONSHIP

OFFICIAL RULES

Version 1.3 (draft) · Effective TBD · Last updated 20 September 2026
Promoter: Formula Neon LLC ("Formula Dream", "we", "us") · support@formuladream.app

DOCUMENT 2 OF 2. These rules cover the Dream Fan Championship – the free daily game fans play across the Dream Cup, and the Dream Garage prize. The Creators Edition Cup has its own rules. Creators cannot enter this Championship (§5.4).

THE SHORT VERSION

  • It is free. No entry fee and no purchase, ever.
  • Back a creator, then play. Backing one creator is how you get in.
  • It is decided on skill – how much F1 you know, and how fast and accurately you answer. Nothing is decided at random.
  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Join whenever you like. Only your 7 best days count, so starting late does not rule you out and one bad day cannot sink you.
  • One winner is crowned the Dream Fan and wins the Dream Garage.
  • Prizes reach every country. The form can change depending on what can be delivered where the winner lives.
  • We pay to get your prize to you – shipping, customs, duty and VAT. You will never get a bill at your door.
  • You pay your own tax on what you win.

1 · THE BASICS

1.1 What this is. These are the official rules for the Dream Fan Championship – a free daily Formula 1 question game run by Formula Dream for 17 days, from 20 November to 6 December 2026, alongside the Dream Cup.

1.2 Who is running it. The promoter is Formula Neon LLC, of TBD (registered address). Questions: support@formuladream.app.

1.3 Which version applies. These rules carry a version number and an effective date at the top. The version in force is the one published at formuladream.app/events/dream-cup/fan-rules. When you accept these rules we record which version you accepted, and when. These rules can change – §12 explains how.

1.4 What accepting means. Before your first answer counts you confirm that you are 18 or over and that you agree to these rules. That agreement is binding.

1.5 How to read this. The summaries are there to help you. Where a summary and the numbered text differ, the numbered text is what applies.

2 · WHAT THE WORDS MEAN

Term What it means
Championship The Dream Fan Championship – everything covered by these rules.
Fan Anyone who enters the Championship.
Creator An invited creator competing in the Dream Cup: Creators Edition. Creators cannot enter this Championship (§5.4).
Backing Choosing a Creator to support in the Dream Cup. You back one Creator, and the choice is final: it cannot be changed once made. Backing a Creator is required to enter this Championship (§5.2).
Day One of the 17 days of the Championship, each with one question.
Best 7 Your final score: your seven highest-scoring Days added together (§7).
Dream Fan The single Fan with the highest Best 7 score. It is a title.
Answer time How long you take to answer a Day's question, measured from the moment the question opens. It ranks each Day, and settles a tie that countback cannot (§7.6).
Countback How a tie is broken: better single Day finish first, then the next best Day, and so on (§7.6).
The Dream Garage The prize the Dream Fan wins (§8).
lil' Champs Formula Dream's collectible foam-finger driver cutouts. Ten are given as prizes (§9).
Widgets Formula Dream's F1 widgets for your phone (§10).
ARV Approximate Retail Value – what a prize is worth at normal retail prices, including tax and delivery where stated. Values are in §14.
Brands The brands supplying prizes: TBD (brand list), and any others we announce during the campaign.

3 · IT IS FREE. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

No purchase necessary. Free to enter.

3.1 There is no entry fee and no purchase requirement. Back a creator, sign in, answer the day's question, and you are playing. Backing a creator costs nothing.

3.2 Buying anything changes nothing. No payment – to us, to a Brand, or to anyone else – will get you an entry, an extra entry, more points, an earlier start, or any other advantage. This includes anything we sell, such as lil' Champs: buying one, or ten, gives you no advantage of any kind in this Championship.

4 · THE CHAMPIONSHIP IS DECIDED ON SKILL

There is no draw and no random tiebreaker in these rules.

4.1 How it is won. This is a question game. It is won on what you know and how quickly and accurately you answer. Nothing is decided at random.

4.2 Ties are settled on measured performance, never at random – countback on Day finishes, then answer time (§7.6).

4.3 No draws. No competition in these rules is a raffle, a sweepstake decided by chance, or a lottery. The ten lil' Champs are awarded for measured activity, not drawn (§9).

4.4 There are no fixed odds. This is a skill competition, not a draw, so there is no published chance of winning. How you place depends on how well you answer against everyone else playing.

5 · WHO CAN ENTER

5.1 You must be 18 or older – or older, where the age of majority where you live is above 18. You confirm this before your first answer counts.

5.2 You must be backing a creator. Backing one creator in the Dream Cup is how you enter the Championship. It is free and it takes a moment, but it is permanent: you back one Creator for the whole Cup and cannot change who you are backing. Your score and the days you have already played are unaffected by who you back.

5.3 Where you can enter. Anyone who meets these rules may play from anywhere in the world, except where entry is prohibited or restricted by local law. Where you live does not affect whether you can win the title – it can affect the form your prize takes. See §6.

5.4 Who cannot enter. Creators competing in the Dream Cup: Creators Edition cannot enter this Championship or win its prizes. Employees and officers of Formula Neon LLC and of our Brands, and their immediate families and household members, also cannot win prizes under these rules.

5.5 One person, one account, one entry. One account per person. Multiple accounts, shared accounts, accounts opened on someone else's behalf, automated play and coordinated group entries are not permitted, and we may disqualify entries and withdraw prizes where we find them.

5.6 Where we cannot send a prize at all. Some places we are not allowed to ship to, and some we cannot reach. In both cases a physical prize is not possible, and §6.5 applies instead.

  • Sanctions and export controls. We cannot award or deliver a prize where doing so would breach them. That currently means Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, together with any person or organisation specifically designated under those programmes.
  • Places carriers do not serve. International carriers have suspended or never offered service to a number of countries. Those we know of are listed in Annex 3.

Both lists change. The list in force on the day a prize is awarded is the one that applies.

5.7 Verification, and what happens if a winner cannot be verified. Before awarding a prize we ask the winner to confirm their identity, their age and where they live, and to provide the tax information described in §13.

If we cannot verify a winner, or if verification shows they are under 18, the prize is withheld and awarded to the next eligible Fan on the leaderboard. We repeat that until the prize reaches someone eligible. The prize is never re-drawn – it always passes down the standings in order.

5.8 How long you have to claim. A winner must respond and complete verification by 14 December 2026, seven days after the Dream Fan is announced (§8.5). If they do not, §5.7 applies and the prize passes to the next eligible Fan.

6 · WHERE PRIZES CAN GO

Everyone eligible plays for the same title. Only the physical form of a prize changes by country.

6.1 The principle. We would rather reach more countries with a prize that fits than shut whole regions out because one large item is hard to ship. So the Championship is open worldwide under §5, and what arrives at your door depends on what can actually be delivered where you live.

6.2 The prize tiers.

Tier Who it applies to What the Dream Fan receives
Full Dream Garage Winners in the countries listed in Annex 1 Everything in §8.1, including the sim racing setup
Rig-less package Winners in countries our Brands cannot ship the setup to, but where normal retail and postal delivery work Everything except the sim racing setup
Digital + a lil' Champ Winners in countries where larger physical delivery is unreliable or heavily restricted, but ordinary post still arrives The digital items, plus a lil' Champ
Digital Winners in the countries in §5.6 and Annex 3, where nothing at all can be delivered The digital items. If anything can safely reach the winner, we look at it case by case.

There is no cash alternative to any prize under these rules. The value of each tier is itemised in §14.

6.3 Large physical prizes go where our Brands can ship them. A sim racing setup is a heavy, customs-sensitive item, and it is delivered by the Brand supplying it, into the countries they serve. Those countries are listed in Annex 1, updated from time to time as coverage changes. Updating Annex 1 does not change these rules. TBD: Annex 1 – awaiting our Brands' written shipping coverage.

6.4 Consoles and games are bought locally where we can. Where a prize includes a games console or a physical game and it can be bought inside the winner's country, we buy it there and have it delivered locally. This is not a lesser prize – it means no border delay, no customs, and hardware built for that region and plug. Annex 2 lists those countries.

6.5 Buying locally does not reduce what a prize is worth. A console bought in the winner's country counts in full towards the prize's stated value and towards anything owed under §13.

6.6 The NEONTRAC and NEONDRIVER items. These two items ship from us, and in some countries the import charges on them come to more than the items are worth. We do not send them where import duty and VAT would exceed US$100. Mexico and Brazil are two countries we already know this applies to. Where they are not sent, the rest of the winner's tier is unaffected – and no charge ever reaches the winner. TBD: the working list of countries this applies to.

6.6a Mexico and Brazil. Winners there receive the digital items, a lil' Champ, and a PlayStation 5 and game bought from local retailers. No freight, no customs.

6.7 We pay the cost of getting a prize to you. Shipping, freight, customs clearance, import duty and VAT are paid by us or by the Brand delivering the prize. You will not be asked for a payment when your prize arrives. Where an item would arrive with a charge attached, we do not send that item (§6.6) – we do not pass it on to you. This is separate from tax on the value of what you have won, which is dealt with in §13.

6.8 Winning never depends on travelling anywhere. No prize in this Championship requires you to attend an event or collect anything in person.

6.9 Substitution. If a prize, or any part of one, becomes unavailable, we may replace it with an alternative of a similar type and a similar value range. We will tell the winner what has changed and why.

7 · HOW THE CHAMPIONSHIP IS PLAYED AND SCORED

One question a day for 17 days. Each day scores like a Grand Prix. Only your 7 best days count.

7.1 One question a day. From 20 November to 6 December 2026 there is one Formula 1 question each Day. You answer it once. There is no way to play a Day again, and no way to play ahead.

7.2 Each Day is scored like a race. Everyone who answers correctly that Day is ranked by speed – the faster you answer correctly, the higher you finish. The top ten finishers score points on the Formula 1 ladder:

Position Points Position Points
1st 25 6th 8
2nd 18 7th 6
3rd 15 8th 4
4th 12 9th 2
5th 10 10th 1

Every correct answer scores. A correct answer that finishes outside the top ten scores 1 point for that Day. An incorrect answer scores nothing.

7.3 Only your 7 best days count. Your final score is your seven highest-scoring Days added together. Your other Days drop. The most anyone can score is 175 – seven perfect Days.

7.4 What that means for you. Two things, and they are the point of the whole design:

  • A bad day cannot sink you. Miss a Day, or have a poor one, and it simply drops.
  • You can join whenever you like. Because only seven Days count, a Fan who starts late is still playing for the same maximum score as someone who started on Day one. Entry stays open right through the 17 Days, up to 12:00pm on 6 December 2026, when Backing closes and with it the only way in (§5.2).

7.5 One champion. The Fan with the highest Best 7 score is crowned the Dream Fan and wins the Dream Garage. Seven is how many Days count – not how many people win.

7.6 Ties are settled on countback – never at random. If two Fans finish on the same Best 7 score, the Fan with the better single Day finish among their counted Days is placed higher. If they are still level, we compare their next best Day, and so on. If every compared Day is level, the Fan with the lower average answer time across their counted Days is placed higher. This is how Formula 1 separates drivers level on points.

7.7 Fair play. One account per person, one answer per Day. Automated play, scripts, shared accounts and coordinated answering are not permitted and will be removed from the standings.

7.8 If something goes wrong. If a question is wrong, unclear or unavailable, or if scoring fails on a Day, we may correct that Day's scores or discount the Day. A discounted Day drops out of the 17 for everyone, and Best 7 is worked out from the Days that ran (§12.2).

8 · THE DREAM GARAGE

One winner takes all of it.

8.1 What is in it.

  1. Sim racing setup – Next Level Racing GTLite foldable cockpit, with a Logitech G923 wheel, pedals and shifter
  2. PlayStation 5 (disc edition)
  3. F1 '26 – physical copy
  4. NEONTRAC
  5. NEONDRIVER
  6. lil' Champs
  7. Lifetime F1 Widgets

8.2 What it is worth. The itemised approximate retail value is in §14. Where a prize is replaced, §6.9 applies.

8.3 One winner. The Dream Fan wins the Dream Garage. It cannot be transferred, and there is no cash alternative.

8.4 What the winner receives. Which tier applies depends on where the winner lives (§6.2).

8.5 Being announced. The Dream Fan is announced on 7 December 2026, the day after the final Day, so that the Dream Fan and the Cup winner are announced together in one moment.

This Championship does not wait on Formula 1. It is scored on our own daily game, so Day 17's points are final when they are published. The Cup's 24-hour standings lock exists because the FIA can amend a session classification (Creators Edition rules §7.4). That has no bearing on your Best 7. The shared announcement date is a choice about how we announce, not a delay in scoring.

Your name or handle is published on the leaderboard and across campaign surfaces. If the law where you live lets you decline that, tell us and we will respect it.

8.6 Claiming it. §5.7 and §5.8 apply – verification, and the 14 December deadline.

8.7 Warranty. Any warranty or support on the equipment is the manufacturer's, and we pass on what we receive.

9 · THE TEN MOST ACTIVE FANS

Ten lil' Champs, for the ten fans who show up the most.

9.1 What it is. The ten most active Fans across the 17 days each win a lil' Champ.

9.2 How they are chosen. On measured activity across the Championship – recorded, counted, and ranked. This is not a draw and there is no random step in it.

9.3 What counts as activity. Three things count, and only these three. All are recorded for every Fan across the 17 days:

  • Backing. Backing a Creator, which is also how you enter (§5.2).
  • Playing. Each Day whose game you play and submit an answer to.
  • Voting. Each poll you vote in.

Nothing else counts, and nothing you buy counts (§3.2).

⚠ Still to set: how the three are weighted against each other, and whether a Day played counts once or by result. Until that is fixed the ranking cannot be computed. It contains no random step either way, and ties are settled under §9.4.

9.4 Ties. Settled on performance, never at random.

9.5 Getting them to the winners. A lil' Champ is a small parcel and posts to most countries. Where it cannot be delivered, §6 applies.

9.6 The paid drops are a different thing. lil' Champs are also sold in limited drops. Buying one has no effect on this or any other competition in these rules (§3.2).

10 · FREE WIDGETS FOR EVERY FAN WHO BACKS A CREATOR

10.1 The offer. Back a Creator and you get Formula Dream's F1 widgets free.

10.2 Everyone gets them. This is not a competition. There is nothing to win, nothing to place in, and no selection – back a Creator and they are yours.

10.3 What you get. Formula Dream's F1 widgets, free for six months. We send you the details by email, and you will also find them when you download the app.

10.4 The Dream Garage is different. The Dream Fan's prize includes the F1 widgets for life (§8.1). The six months in §10.3 is the offer for backing a Creator.

10.5 Timing. Widgets are released during the campaign. Dates can move (§12).

11 · BRANDS, PLATFORMS AND FORMULA 1

11.1 The Brands. Prizes in the Championship are supplied with our Brands: TBD (brand list). More are joining, and we name each one as they come on board.

11.2 Platforms. The Championship is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X, or any other platform.

11.3 Formula 1. The Dream Fan Championship is a game about Formula 1. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Formula 1, Formula One Licensing BV, the FIA, any Formula 1 team, any driver, or any Grand Prix promoter or venue.

"F1", "Formula 1", "Grand Prix", and the names of teams, drivers and circuits are the trademarks of their owners. We use them only to describe the real-world racing the questions are about.

11.4 Product names. PlayStation and PS5 are trademarks of Sony Interactive Entertainment. Other product and brand names in these rules belong to their owners and are used only to describe what a prize is.

12 · DATES AND CHANGES

12.1 The calendar in these rules is the calendar. If something outside our hands moves a date – the Formula 1 timetable, for instance – we publish the new date on the Championship page.

12.2 If a day cannot run. If a question is wrong, unclear or unavailable, or if scoring fails on a Day, we may correct that Day's scores or discount the Day. A discounted Day drops out of the 17 for everyone, and Best 7 is worked out from the Days that ran.

12.3 Suspending or stopping the Championship. We may modify, suspend or end the Championship if fraud, a technical failure, or anything outside our control stops it being run fairly. If it ends early, it is decided on the standings at the point it stopped – never at random.

12.4 Changes to these rules. These rules carry a version number and an effective date. When we change them we publish the new version and update both. Changes take effect from the date published.

13 · TAX

13.1 Tax on a prize is the winner's. Any income, prize or other tax arising from receiving a prize is yours to pay. We recommend you take your own advice on it.

13.2 We tell you what your prize is worth. The approximate retail value is in §14, and we confirm the figure for your prize when we award it.

13.3 If you are in the United States. Where the value of your prize is more than US$600 we collect a Form W-9 from you before the prize is sent, and issue a Form 1099-MISC reporting its value. The Dream Garage is well above that figure.

13.4 Getting the prize to you costs you nothing. Shipping, customs clearance, import duty and VAT are ours (§6.7). Tax on the value of the prize is separate, and is covered by §13.1.

14 · WHAT THE PRIZES ARE WORTH

Approximate retail values at the date of these rules.

Item Approximate retail value
Next Level Racing GTLite foldable cockpit $230
Logitech G923 – wheel, pedals and shifter $400
PlayStation 5 (disc edition), including tax $700
F1 '26, physical copy $70
NEONTRAC and NEONDRIVER – F1-inspired neon lights $800
lil' Champs $30
Lifetime F1 Widgets $900
Items $3,130
International shipping (approximate) $400
Sales tax on the remaining items $110
The Dream Garage, in total approximately $3,640
Other prizes Approximate retail value
lil' Champ – each of the ten most active Fans $30

Values are approximate and may move with retail pricing.

15 · YOUR DATA

15.1 What we collect. Your account details, the country you tell us, your confirmation that you are 18 or over, the Creator you are backing, and how you play – your answers, your times and your scores.

15.2 What we use it for. Running the Championship, scoring it, showing the leaderboard, awarding and delivering prizes, and meeting our tax and legal obligations.

15.3 What is public. Your display name or handle and your position appear on the public leaderboard.

15.4 Who else sees it. We share what is needed to deliver a prize, and nothing more – a winner's delivery address goes to the Brand shipping it. We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to a Brand for their own marketing.

15.5 How long we keep it. For as long as the campaign needs it. Tax records are kept for as long as the law requires.

15.6 Your rights. You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deleting it during the Championship means leaving it, because we cannot score a player we hold no data for.

15.7 Our privacy policy. TBD (privacy policy URL) covers this in full and applies alongside these rules.

16 · LIABILITY, DISPUTES AND LAW

16.1 Prizes come as they are. Any warranty or support on a physical prize is the manufacturer's, and we pass on what we receive.

16.2 What we are not responsible for. Delays or failures caused by carriers, customs, platforms or events outside our control; a device or connection that stops you playing; or loss beyond the value of the prize concerned. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

16.3 Disputes about scoring or a result. Raise it with us at support@formuladream.app within 48 hours of the final standings being published (§8.5), never from a provisional figure on the leaderboard. We review it and our decision is final.

16.4 Governing law. These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, and the courts of the State of Arizona have jurisdiction.

16.5 Your local rights. Nothing in these rules removes consumer rights you have under the law where you live.

16.6 If part of this does not apply. If any part of these rules cannot be enforced, the rest still stands.

16.7 Void where prohibited.

17 · CONTACT

17.1 Questions. support@formuladream.app.

17.2 A copy of these rules, or the winners. Write to us at the address in §1.2 and we will send either to you.

ANNEX 3 – WHERE WE CANNOT SEND A PHYSICAL PRIZE

Used by §5.6. Two separate reasons, listed together because the outcome is the same: no physical prize, and the digital-only tier applies.

A · Not permitted – comprehensive sanctions or export controls Cuba · Iran · North Korea · Syria · the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine. Also Russia and Belarus: sanctions there are targeted rather than comprehensive, but the combination of financial restrictions and suspended carrier and retail service means we treat them as no-physical-delivery.

B · Not reachable – carriers have suspended or do not offer service Afghanistan · Eritrea · Venezuela · Lebanon · Seychelles · Kiribati · Turkmenistan · Central African Republic · Cambodia · Laos · East Timor · Bhutan · Papua New Guinea · Solomon Islands · Vanuatu · Tonga · Tuvalu · Samoa · Marshall Islands · Micronesia · Palau · Cook Islands · American Samoa · New Caledonia · Wallis and Futuna · Mayotte · Faroe Islands · Greenland.

Both lists change. Carrier coverage in particular moves without notice. The list in force on the day a prize is awarded is the one that applies. Sources: US sanctions programmes; published carrier service suspensions (USPS and UPS), reviewed 30 August 2026.

To be confirmed.
