Lusail International Circuit

Lusail is a flowing, fast circuit built around a chain of medium and high-speed corners that barely let the car settle. The sustained loads make it punishing on tyres and physically hard on the driver, who is worked almost continuously through the sweeping sequences with few real braking points to break the rhythm. Run into the evening under floodlights, it is as much a test of stamina as of speed.

Located near Doha, the circuit began life as a motorcycle venue, and its smooth surface and open, sweeping corners still reflect that heritage. The result is a lap of high, sustained cornering forces that rewards a well-balanced car and a driver with the stamina to keep leaning on it.
