The Las Vegas Strip circuit sends cars flat out down the famous boulevard, linking long straights with heavy braking zones under the neon of the city. Run late at night, it brings cold conditions that make warming the tyres and brakes a real challenge, so getting temperature into the car at the right moment becomes central to a quick lap. The cold tarmac can leave the tyres graining and the cars sliding.

It is a high-profile night race through the heart of Las Vegas, as much a show as a sporting event. The low grip and long flat-out sections put the emphasis firmly on straight-line speed, slipstreaming and confident braking into the slow corners.
