Formula 1 has almost doubled its sprints for 2027, from six to ten. Two of them will be held at Monaco and Lusail, the two circuits where our own measurements say passing is hardest.
The calendar was confirmed on 16 September: 24 rounds across 22 countries, opening in Bahrain on 14 March and finishing in Abu Dhabi on 12 December. Portugal and Turkey return for the first time since 2021. The Dutch Grand Prix drops off after this season, and Spain stays in Madrid.
